Day #4 and Day #5 and Sayonara Bangkok!

I have already informed you earlier, I am real bad at routine things. Maybe that is the reason why I am fitting in 2 and a half men days in this post. So, Day 4 is here. The schedule says Dream World and Snow Town and I say wow! Going on that huge highway and giving that toll tax has become almost a routine. Do all tourist spots lie on the same highway? They why is Bangkok and Pattaya famous, i wonder.
Dream World! Whether its me, a teenager or it is my sister, a 10 year old – we see the dream world entrance and exclaim, ‘Yes! It’s our day today.” When you walk in it is like, “Yay! Welcome to Thai Nicco Park!”
It is not like it is only for children. It very well balances between the entertainment quotient’s of all ages. It starts from places built to break down your Camera battery. 😀 The reason why it offers to all the ages is, it has variety as such like a love garden is there. Now, this will not be there for teenagers.. err.. or maybe. *Smiling wickedly* 😉
The best of rides were Super Splash and Hurricane where in the former for a moment you feel heavenly, in the latter you feel Hell could be a better option! Midway, there was provision for lunch. Indian food was there, but it was in the rear part of the food station which we didn’t notice earlier. Of course we could not have eaten Non Veg stuff there. Everybody turned to dismal biting on Salads and watermelon. Suddenly Papa came running, “Peeche mein Indian bhi hain” … What Joy! What enthusiasm on our faces. Everybody smiling, jumping, even poking each other. And now the plates had Puri and Papad.. as it started Raining! :/ It did not stop us. We got into Snow town to freeze those water drops. After all the fun, the rain did stop us from Go Karting which got closed due to rain. Nevertheless, making use of the time, we had another two go’s at Super Splash and doing it three times was three times the fun.
Its a true fact that Dream World added reasons to why this trip should be treasured. 🙂

Curtains coming down | Day #5 and #6

Hmm! Day #5 is here. Mummy, Papa, Mausaji, Masi, Chacha, Chachi (I am not counting the number of people on the trip) – they all gone for shopping. Intentionally opted out of the plan. When PS3 and shopping are both at stake – you obviously let go shopping and opt for PS3. That too shopping with your mom. 😀
Last evening also played PS3. The playroom gets locked at 6:00 pm and the person in charge forgot to lock it. We played till 9 in the night when my sister mistakenly locked it. “Jo hota hain bhale ke liye hota hain” Was losing all of the NBA Live 09 matches to my brother. He came this morning, to mess with me; Crushed him!
Played there till the evening, and then in the night the chillar party turned evil. Muaahhhahha! Destroyed the condition of the room and the lobby. Played football in the lobby and then in the room moved furnitures, jumped on the springly beds! Awesome fun. Why not? It was the last day.
Day #6
The moment before we were leaving and checking out was a moment of fun and childishness on my side. Running to the swimming pool at 9:00, then to the playroom for PS3 and then reaching out for Wii remotes. Just wanted to try each and everything possible, those minute things which had made the trip an excellent one. Papa scolding, but still those “Papa, ek aur minute” cries just to finish the game. The game’s finished. The trip’s finished.
See the difference now. While coming to Bangkok, we had to wait three hours at the Kolkata airport- customary thing but then it was fun for us and the same thing now at the Bangkok airport was a bore. Don’t suppose that Kolkata’s airport is better. Just because of the feeling that back to home again. Time has flown by.  I am back to Kolkata and it has 3 days since I am here. All that I have now is Nova Platinum hotel’s paper pad, Eastin Hotel’s pen, my seawalking CD, Kingfisher Airways’ headphones and a few five hundred photographs, and clothes purchased at Indra Square. ‘Memories of Thailand’

Bring back the circus | Bangkok Pattaya Day #3

I guess I have mentioned this in one of my blogs earlier, that how I was left in awe how once so popular circuses don’t stand popularity now. Do the parents now log on to Youtube and then show their children how a tiger jumps over the hurdle or how the elephants play cricket. To be honest, I wanted to go to a circus. I never knew I would really go and that too when I am in Bangkok.
The third day of our trip and the second day into the Nova Platinum’s swimming pool and the last day in the hotel. Check out at 12:00, hoping that the hotel in Bangkok also has the same Wifi facility! 🙂
On way to Bangkok, we visited the Sriracha Tiger Zoo which I referred as Circus.
A crocodile show, an elephant show and a tiger show; then where is the zoo? The fourth category of animals were the pigs – as if everybody dislikes them. The crocodile show was a thriller, the elephant one the best, the tigers were fierce. My connection to the animals till now was limited to playing with two pet dogs at friend’s house, giving the cat some milk, giving the cow roti and now it had got extended – Gave bananas to the elephant. Oh! I forgot, i have also given the monkeys and the fishes their respective foods. 😛 The chillar party enjoyed it.
Around 6 ‘o’ clock, we reached Hotel Eastin in Makkasan, Bangkok. Yes, we travelled back taking the same highway which we took to get to Pattaya – the huge one. Eastin had better Wifi facility, and also had two PS3 and 1 Wii motion gaming in its playroom. The fun doubles here.
Defining the title – Just 4 animals doesnt make a place a zoo. They may make one and I cannot recognize it sadly because I am accustomed to see more varieties in my Alipur Zoo in Kolkata!
