The internet can never replace the book.

The man’s best friend, Book, how faithful it has been to human beings since ages. The original storehouse of knowledge, Book, now sincerely it has served us with all the information. Well, sadly its importance is still neglected.
Who needs the library, when the whole globe is on Google. Everybody is running after Wikipedia, Oxford seems to be forgotten. It is that time when encyclopedias and dictionaries are tasting the dust, and the internet providing with the past, present, future for anything which is needed.
Science says, “Long hours in contact with technology may disturb your health.”
According to that, if Harry Potter and the deathly hallows was to be only available on the net.. Every next person would have approached the next door doctor.
And yes, Harry Potter would not have been so famous had it been solely an e-book.
The essence of getting into a book and only awakening to reality once the clock starts celebrating midnight. The essence turning the pages, expecting things, the anxiety about what’s next, about a new pathway to the story. The feeling cannot be described in sentences like these. A downloaded PDF file may never serve with the same essence.
The democratic power sharing policy may by chance come into use, but the books will always remain our heritage and our future.
When Twitter came, it always attracted tweeple but Facebook never lost its “status”
The revolutionary e-book may soon diminish, may “paper” bookmarks always enjoy the fancy to get plugged into best sellers. Long live the book!

A “post” to my name, A leader now.

Wikipedia describes leader as one who influences others. But people have other definitions to it. People say, “A leader should lead from the front, he should set an example.”
Well.. as per my logic Sourav Ganguly was one of the finest leaders Indian cricket ever had. But what about being a fine cricketer? He was, no doubt about that. But he certainly did not lead from the front. It was Sachin and Kumble who performed better than him, always. So what made him a leader? His motivation. The spirit, the enthusiasm HE brought to the side with his influence, can’t be brought by Dhoni’s coolness and calmness. He never won the world cup, T20 was not there during his time.. no question of IPL but he laid that foundation on which the tall Indian Cricket is standing today. Tall because of the champion title.
And when I have already mentioned Dhoni.. it will not be wrong to say there have been less occasions where Dhoni has really led from the front. I only remember two: The world cup 2011, and the T20 World cup Semis V/S Australia.
I am a post holder now. So do I have to lead from the front always? That No.1 band is necessary? I may even stand somewhere in the 87th position in the queue of 200, and then motivate the 86 in front and 114 at the back. Well, I am not really at the 87th position. I may be at the 15th. Can that not do?
Chetan Bhagat gave me an answer when I asked whether to be serious. He answered, “Dont be serious, be sincere” And now I come up with another question. Chetan Bhagat is certainly not answering this.
Its not that leaders don’t lead from the front. Take Manmohan Singh. He leads the corruption processes and yeah.. from the front. And respecting that leadership quality, he is at present the Prime Minister of India.
Leadership is “organizing a group of people to achieve a common goal by influencing them, by motivating them”
And by the way, when do we give examples from every answer we write in our examinations. That simplifies it. When you perform well, set an example; well and good. When you don’t, just bunk it. Move to the other “question” to “answer” it.

Two Elements

Two Elements – Wrong and Right

Right gets stuck in the web

Wrong flies off, escapes the net.

History said Wrong always lost,

But now, being right, always costs.

Two Elements – Wrong and Right

Wrong always wins, whenever they fight.

To Prove oneself Right,

Justification is Needed..

Meanwhile,

The Wrong had already succeeded.

Two Elements – Wrong and Right

The right always gains the plight.

No More Gains in being the same,

The right gets stained,

Stained due to depth of the Blame.

Two Elements – Right and Wrong

Both went into a Brawl..

Eventually, there remains only one of the two..

Standing Tall.
