Arrogance and Irritation
In my Ignorance, I showed Arrogance
Took pride in every step,
To stop this dirty business,
Was my prep!
I showed behavior of some egoistic type
Like the mayor’s towards the man with the pipe.
It became a necessity, that taking pride,
I did not know it deteriorated me from inside.
Every moment I used to show off,
My heart became cold and little than the Lilliputian dwarf,
In the skill of boasting I was honed,
With negative attitude, my nature was adorned.
While the great actions of mine, I used to restate,
The one thing I also did, was to irritate,
Uncertain of the reactions of the stranger,
One would roll in laughter, the other would rage in anger.
WHENCE WE HAVE LESS, WE SUFFER LOSS
BUT WHEN HAVE MORE, WE SUFFER GREED.
ITS SOONER THE BETTER TO REALIZE,
TO HALT OUR EVILS DEEDS, THERE IS AN URGENT NEED.
ARE WE HUMANS?
CAUSE WE LACK HUMANITY!
WHY POLLUTE WITH BOMBS AND GUNS,
WHY ADD TO THE FORESTS, THE EFFECT OF CLARITY?
BUT WE NEVER CARE.
BUT WHY MATTER WHEN THE AC IS THERE!
And as Robert Zend says,
“There are too many people, and too few human beings.”
